Description
Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea) is a wonderful drought-tolerant plant to add to your garden. Purple Coneflower is mildly deer resistant and easy to grow. Their long lasting blossoms are popular among a wide variety of pollinators and wildlife. Echinacea is also known for its medicinal qualities. Purple Coneflower is native to much of the United States, but not the Mid-Atlantic region; because of this we recommend this plant for garden use, but not for restoration projects.
