Description
Warm season grass commonly used in landscape and restoration plantings. Drought tolerant but can adapt to moist conditions. Blue green color in the summer, changing to brown, copper and crimson colors that remain all winter. Excellent wildlife plant – host plant for multiple species, seeds provide food for songbirds, and female bumblebees nest in it throughout the winter. Deer resistant.
