Description

This creeping perennial has a medium growth rate and is a semi-evergreen plant. The fruits of this plant are 1/2 inch across with seeds embedded in the pits of the strawberries. Has resistance to drought and erosion. Is attractive to pollinators, songbirds and supports the Andrena (Micrandrena) melanochroa species of native bee.
