We assist in the management and conservation of natural habitats to ensure their health, sustainability, and biodiversity. This encompasses a range of activities and principles aimed at preserving and enhancing natural environments for the benefit of wildlife and human communities. Climate Resilience Initiative
Evergreen is committed to reducing the impacts of climate change in Allegany County. At the heart of this initiative remains the mission of education, conservation, and preservation. Through educational programing, demonstrations, workshops, and more Evergreen provides students and community members with the knowledge and skills to address climate change right in their own backyards. In conjunction with Allegany College of Maryland and ASTAR AmeriCorps, Evergreen addresses these issues on-site and within the community.
