Evergreen Trailblazers Volunteer Organization

Join the Evergreen Trailblazers to help others discover the wonders of nature and history through recreation in the outdoors during our 2026 Season (April-October). Evergreen Trailblazers is a volunteer organization with the goal of helping to maintain the Forest Evolution Trail (over 5 miles) and to support visitors through guided hikes.

Museum Docent Training | March 28, 2026

Are you interested in volunteering as a Museum Tour Guide/Docent?

Evergreen will host a museum docent training on Saturday, March 28th at 1:00 p.m. During the training we'll go over the history of our property, museums, and highlight some of our most noteworthy artifacts. We'll also supply docents with materials they can use to prepare before tours and events.

ASTAR AmeriCorps

In partnership with Frostburg State University, Evergreen hosts AmeriCorps members each year. This opportunity provides participants with an opportunity to develop new skills, while earning a living stipend and/or education award for their service.
