Evergreen Heritage Center’s cultivated native plants are guaranteed to be true to species and in good health at the time of purchase.  Please inspect all plant materials within 72 hours of receipt to make sure your order is complete.  We strive to provide quality plant material; but we can not provide a warranty for the future life of a plant once it has left our care.  We will consider claims under special circumstances; however Evergreen Heritage Center’s liability is limited to replacement or refund of the plant in dispute.

We offer plants native to the Mid-Atlantic region that are suited to the Appalachian Plateau and Ridge and Valley sections of Maryland, but also offer a limited number of medicinal plants and herbs from outside our region. Most of our plants are straight species, but we offer select cultivars that have characteristics making them desirable for many home gardens. Our plant descriptions provide information about conditions suitable to each plant, but it is always wise to research a plant to ensure it will meet your landscaping or restoration needs.

While we try to guarantee the availability of plants listed for sale, we are largely dependent on confirmed orders from a network of growers.  All nurseries may experience crop failure, damage by natural causes, and conditions beyond our control that may cause a plant to become unavailable.  If one of these instances should arise, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange a substitution or refund for that portion of your order prior to your arranged pickup.
