Woodland Natives & Pollinators

Saturday, April 18th @ 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Location: Learning Center
During this workshop, learn about common woodland native plant species, their pollinators, and best practices for implementing them in your gardens. We’ll start with a lecture style program talking about common woodland natives and their relationship with pollinators –including native bee species! We’ll also discuss best garden-clean up methods and how they benefit pollinators. Then we’ll take a short hike across the property to see a variety of natives as they emerge for the spring. And don’t forget to check out our selection of natives while you’re here! We’re more than happy to help you select the best options to meet your needs.
Parking: Please park in the upper parking lot and walk down over the hill. Spaces in the small lot beside the Gateway Pavilion are reserved for those needing ADA accessibility.
