Earth Day Celebration

Join us for a FREE family friendly event to celebrate our home, Mother Earth! The theme of Earth Day 2024 is Planet vs. Plastics. To celebrate, we’ve compiled a variety of activities here at Evergreen to focus on reducing our impact on the planet we love. From upcycling, to art, and even planting herbs–there’s something for each family member to get involved in while visiting.
Mingle with local organizations and students including University of Maryland Extension & Master Gardeners, Rocky Gap State Park, The Nature Conservancy, Frostburg Green Team, Garrett College Wildlife Club, and more!
Celebrate with us on April 21st, the day before Earth Day, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Gateway Pavilion. Attendees can park in the upper lot for the event.
