Evergreen offers a variety of arts programs including Arts in the Schools, summer camps, adult art workshops and professional development programs for art and music teachers.  Arts in the School is an interdisciplinary approach to teaching children about our environment. The programs run from November to March and allow third and fifth grades to create art from recycled products, explore painting landscapes, immerse in poetry, and be creative through movement and dance. Evergreen Heritage Center has been involved with this program since 2015, with a strong partnership with the Allegany Arts Council, the Maryland State Arts Council, and the Nora Roberts Foundation.

Check out the Summer Camp tab for more information about our art focused summer camp and the Workshops tab for upcoming art workshops.
